BUXTON– Georgia Barnett Perry Gray, 84, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 3, 2013 atSpring Arbor of the Outer Banks. Georgia was born Aug. 1, 1929 inBuxton. She was the daughter of the late Thomas and Martha SwainBarnett and was a member of the Buxton United Methodist Church.
Georgiais survived by her son, Bryan Perry, and wife, Susie, and a daughter,Nancy Scarborough, and husband, Eddie, and grandchildren NatalieKavanagh (Jay), Kyle Perry (Jessica), Jack Scarborough (Michelle),great-grandchildren Joe, Thomas, and Patrick Kavanagh and Bodey Perry.
Followingthe death of her husband Vernon Lee Perry, she married Charles FatioGray of Buxton, now deceased. She was predeceased by six sisters andthree brothers and a great-grandson.
Services were on Dec. 6 atthe Buxton Methodist Church in Buxton by the Rev. Dwight Burrus andDanny Couch. Burial was at Cedarwood Cemetery in Hertford, N.C. on Dec.9.
