Theresa “Terry” Virginia (Nilsen) Wilcox , 64, of Wimauma, Fla., passedfrom this world into eternal rest on Feb. 3, 2012 in Sun City Centersurrounded by family. Theresa was born in Providence, R.I., on Oct. 10,1947. She resided in Rodanthe for several years where she worked atWaterfall Park.
Theresa was predeceased by her parents Martin Nilsen, Peter Marshall(stepfather), and Hope Brooks; two brothers, Roland Nilsen and KennethNilsen; her husband, Richard Norman Wilcox, and grandson, SPFC NicolasP. Bernier.
Theresa was well loved by all who knew her and always had a positiveword about everyone. She loved to travel and to camp and always wantedto learn more. She leaves behind four loved children, Heather Wilcox ofForks, Wash., Tod Wilcox and Peter Wilcox, both of Wimauma, Fla., andTina Clements of Hanover, Mass.; two grandsons Bradley and ChristopherBernier of East Kingston, N.H.; four sisters, Gladys Brayton andSally Hicks, both of Foster, R.I, Margaret Sasse of Port St. Lucie,Fla., and Mary Pecheco of Massachusetts; a brother, Peter Nilsenof Dayville, Conn., and numerous nieces and nephews.
