Mary L. Tolson, 86, formerly of Frisco and Norfolk, Va., passed awayJan. 13, 2012 at Colony Ridge Nursing Home in Nags Head.  Shewaspreceded in death by her husband Jesse B. Tolson of Frisco and firsthusband Fred R. Reid, Sr. She is survived by children Fred R. Reid,Jr., Phyllis Peele, Mary M. Midgett and Lisa R. Tolson; sixgrandchildren, and nine great grandchildren. Western Union, WilmarkServices ,and Wyeth Laboratories were her employers.  Mary wasapassionate gardener and was originally from New Orleans, La. A familycelebration of her life was held in Chesapeake, Va.  She willbegreatly missed.
