BUXTON– Virginia “Ginger” O’Neal Meekins, 60, passed away at her residenceon Sunday, May 23, 2010. Born in Wanchese, she was thedaughterof the late James Bristo O’Neal and the late Alice BrothersO’Neal. She is also predeceased by one brother, RandallO’Neal.
Mrs.Meekins is survived by her husband, Stanley E. Meekins, of theresidence; three daughters, Crystal Rose Meekins of Buxton, Stacy M.Davis and husband Timmy of King William, Va., and Kimberly Ann DurrAustin of Avon; one son, Robert Paul Durr, Jr. of Greenville, and onebrother, Mark O’Neal.
Alsoleft to cherish her memory are her four grandchildren, ChristianEverrett Meekins, Brittny Nicole Austin, Ivey Royce Austin, Jr. andHailey Brooke Durr.
Amemorial service will be held at 11a.m., Friday, May 28, at TwifordFuneral Home – Hatteras with the Rev. Roger Barnett officiating.
