On Sunday, April 24, 2016, ourHeavenly Father did suddenly and unexpectedly call home one of hisangels, Valerie Flynn Delsignore, beloved wife of Philip JosephDelsignore and daughter of Lillian Belter and Melvin John Belter.
Silently passing on to her next life, she was a native of Norfolk and agraduate of Maury High School, who also attended ODU. She was deeplyloved by all who knew her.
Valerie’s second home was on the Outer Banks, where she lived for sixyears. She worked at Food Lion, for the Ferry Division, and atthe Bistro in Avon. She made an impact on everyone she met andleaves behind many friends on the Outer Banks.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory: her daughter, Chrissy Flynn;son, Michael Flynn; and step-son, Philip M. Delsignore; andgranddaughter, Adriana. She was greatly loved by her mother, sisters,brothers and family, Debbie Belter Affeldt and husband Bobby, Billy andLiz Belter, and Melvin and Jennifer Belter; in-laws, Denise and BillKeys, Michelle and Ralph Piefer; along with numerous nieces andnephews; as well as her lifelong best friend, Kim Mitchmen and many oldfriends.
The family will receive friends at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, BaysideChapel, In Virginia Beach on Thursday, April 28, from 5 to 7 p.m. Agraveside service will be conducted Friday, April 29, at RosewoodMemorial Park at 11a.m. by Pastor Rick Goeres.
