Minnie Gillikin Ballance, age 76, died Sunday, May 31, 2015 inGreenville, N.C. A native of Hatteras, she was born on January18, 1939 to the late Leonard and Neva Gillikin.
She is survived by her children, Bruce Ballance and Angela DawnBallance of Hatteras; a sister, Sandra Phillips (Ken) of Swansboro,N.C.; seven grandchildren, Adrian Ballance, Bryant Ballance, ToriBallance, Asa Ballance, Devin Daniels, Gunnar Daniels and CassidyCooper.
The family would like to thank family and friends for their support, prayers and love during Minnie’s illness.
A celebration of life will be held at the Hatteras United MethodistChurch in Hatteras on Sunday, June 14, at 2 p.m. with a reception toimmediately follow in the church Fellowship Hall.
