AVON– After a long battle with cancer, Ronald E. Price passed away on May10, 2015 at home with his loving wife of 43 years, the Reverend AnitraPrice. 

Born on May 16, 1943 to the late Irvin Price andErnestine Brandis, Ronnie is survived by a brother, Danny Price, andwife, Jomi of Avon; two aunts, Louise Peele of Virginia Beach, Va., andBonnie Lister of Chesapeake, Va. , along with many cousins.

In lieu of flowers, donations are requested to the Hatteras Island Cancer Foundation, P.O. Box 442, Hatteras NC 27943.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 16, at 2 p.m. at St. Johns United Methodist Church in Avon.

Condolences to the family may be expressed via the online register at www.gallopfuneralservices.com.  Gallop Funeral Services, Inc. was entrusted with arrangements.
