MANTEO– Belinda Joyce Tillett Sadler, 43, died Wednesday, Aug. 20, 2014. Shewas born to Kirby and Carrol Tillett in Elizabeth City. She was thewife to Greg Sadler for 13 years. Belinda was a retired beautician; sheloved to volunteer at the Manteo Elementary school, and loved thebeach.
Includingher husband and parents, she is survived by her daughters, Kirby JaneSadler, and Cassidy Michelle Sadler; her sisters, Michelle T. Evans andhusband George, of Manteo, and Carla Tillett Tracy of Manteo; fourstepchildren, Andy Hatsageorgio, Ashlee Sadler, Conner Sadler, andCourtney Sadler; a host of nieces and nephews, including Asia andWilliam Stewart, Skyler and Dustin Foley, and Ross Tracy. She alsoleaves behind her best friend Karen Basnight.
Afuneral service will be held on Saturday, Aug. 23, at Bethany UnitedMethodist Church at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Dr. Jerome Smith and PastorStephen Wescott officiating. A visitation for family and friends willbe at Twiford Colony Chapel, on Friday, Aug. 22, from 7 until 8:30 p.m.She will be buried in Cudworth Cemetery.
