MANTEO — Arnetta Marie Taylor Mintz, 72, of Manteo, NC died Saturday, July 20, 2019, at Peak Resources – Outer Banks. Born in Chapel Oaks, MD on December 18, 1946, she was the daughter of the late Oleona Simmons Taylor and Herman Taylor, Sr.
She was a faithful member of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, Nags Head and loved to shop QVC.
Arnetta is survived by one daughter, Rockelle Price; two sons, Donnell Fitzgerald Mintz, Sr. (Nicole) and Hercules Mintz, Jr.; two grandchildren, Tyler Donnell Mintz and Taylor Ashley Carrie Mintz; two sisters, Grace McNair and Oleona Taylor; four brothers, Robert Taylor, Herman Taylor, Jr., Darrell Taylor, and Noran Taylor; and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Hercules Emmanuel Mintz, Sr.; son, Earl Mintz; grandson, Donnell Mintz, Jr.; two sisters, Gwen Taylor and Jean White; and two brothers, John Daniels, Jr. and Delton Simmons, Sr.
A funeral will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, July 27, 2019, at Twiford Colony Chapel, Manteo with a graveside committal following at Haven Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends and relatives prior to the service beginning at 9:00 am.
