Three new COVID-19 cases reported in Hyde County
Luana Gibbs, Health Director for Hyde County reports three (3) more cases of COVID-19 in Hyde County. All of the individuals are in isolation at home and close contact investigations have occurred. This brings Hyde County’s total count of laboratory confirmed cases to six (6); however, three (3) of those cases have recovered. There are no current hospitalizations and no deaths to report. Individuals should continue to be mindful of prevention practices, and feel free to contact the Health Department, Engelhard Medical Center, or Ocracoke Health Center should you desire testing.
