Cape Hatteras Lady Canes Beat Camden County at Home, 42-27
The Cape Hatteras Lady Canes varsity basketball team won Monday’s home non-conference game against Camden County by a score of 42-27.
Sophomore Lilly Ratliff was selected as the Cape Hatteras Girls Basketball Player of the Game, and led the team in scoring. She scored 19 points shooting 50% from the floor, to go along with 7 rebounds, 2 assists and 2 steals. Freshman Kylie Phillips also scored an impressive 12 points for the Canes, while players Hannah Curcio, Chloe Flythe, Abby O’Neal, and Laya Barley also added points to the Lady Canes’ final 42-27 victory.
