Power outage scheduled for Thursday morning in Avon and the Tri-villages
Cape Hatteras Electric Cooperation (CHEC) will require a planned power outage in Avon and the Tri-villages on Thursday, February 25, in order to put Hatteras and Ocracoke island back onto transmission power
The power outage scheduled for Thursday is as follows:
- Rodanthe, Waves, Salvo, and Avon will experience a 5-minute outage at 7:30 a.m.
