Association members and attendees at Rodanthe-Waves-Salvo Civic Association Annual Meeting enjoyed the updates and a lively 25 minutes of question and answers with Bob Woodard, Chairman, Dare County Commissioners and Dave Hallac, District Superintendent National Park Service. A social preceded the meeting held at the Rodanthe Community Center on June 24.

The Officers and Directors of the Association reported on their activities during the year.
Incoming President Tom Amatucci shared the success of the Association’s latest project a Villages map highlighting the local business support of our Villages. John Havel, Graphic Designer and Hatteras Lighthouse historian (https://news.uslhs.org/2020/12/09/light-hearted-special-edition-cape-hatteras-nc-150th-anniversary-bett-padgett-and-john-havel/) , was recognized for his many contributions to the Association and Villages including the design and launch of the Association’s new website https://www.rwscivicassociation.org
Association members present elected the officers and directors for the upcoming year.
Officers elected were Tom Amatucci, President; Tim Fitch, Vice President; Mark Strausbaugh, Treasurer; Polly Moffatt, Secretary. Directors elected were Aida Havel, Stacie Loizeaux, Bertie Midgett, Gene Stoel and Eric Braojos who will be joining the continuing Directors: Joanne Mason, Mary Helen Goodloe-Murphy and Meredith Doyle. Chandra Rutledge continues as Facebook Coordinator and Wayne Codding became Membership Chairman
