Jake B. Mull, Jr.

KILL DEVIL HILLS — Jake B. Mull Jr., 80, of Kill Devil Hills, NC passed away on August 4, 2021. Jake was born February 3, 1941, in Mecklenburg County, VA. to the late Jake and Gladys Mull. Jake was one of nine siblings that grew up in the small town of Baskerville Va.

Jake is survived by his son Chris Mull and wife Michelle of Kill Devil Hills, NC; son, Matthew Mull and wife Anna of Richmond, VA; stepson, Philip Tunstall and wife Monica of New Kent; six grandchildren, Jordan, Peyton, Sadie, Madison, Corey and Caleigh; and his dog, Roscoe.

Jake served in the National Guard then became a successful business owner in Richmond for more than 25 years. Jake has spent the last 16 years of his life fishing and enjoying his grandchildren on the Outer Banks.  The family will announce plans for a memorial service in Richmond at a later time.  Expressions of sympathy and comfort are welcome via the online register at www.gallopfuneralservices.com.  Gallop Funeral Services, Inc. was entrusted with arrangements.
