23 new COVID-19 cases reported on September 15 in Dare County

Dare County announced 23 new positive COVID-19 test results from September 15, bringing the total number of cases in the county since the pandemic began to 5,237.

With Wednesday’s new cases, the current number of active cases in the county is now 163. There are also 14 current hospitalizations, one recent COVID-19-related death, and 4 of the 23 cases reported on September 15 were vaccinated individuals.

The 23 additional cases consist of 9 non-residents and 14 residents, and include the following:

4. non-resident, 50-64, female, transferred isolation
5. non-resident, 25-49, male, transferred isolation
6. resident, 17 under, male, home isolation

8. non-resident, 50-64, male, transferred isolation
9. non-resident, 50-64, female, transferred isolation
10. non-resident, 18-24, male, transferred isolation
11. non-resident, 18-24, male, transferred isolation
12. resident, 17 under, male, home isolation
13. resident, 25-49, female, home isolation
14. resident, 25-49, female, home isolation
15. non-resident, 18-24, female, transferred isolation
16. non-resident, 25-49, female, transferred isolation
