Lisa Renee Tolson

Lisa Renee Tolson, 59, of Roselle Park, New Jersey passed away at her home on February 2, 2019. She is predeceased by her parents Mary Louise and Jesse Benjamin Tolson of Frisco, North Carolina. She is survived by half-siblings Fred Reid, Phyllis Peele, Maggie Midgett, and many cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends. Lisa’s adventurous spirit was evident when she moved to New Jersey early in her career. She enjoyed creative writing, collecting cookbooks and took special pleasure in cooking and enjoying food with friends and family. Lisa suffered greatly from cancer and lymphedema at the end of her life. Many friends and family tried to ease her pain in their own ways. She would want them to take comfort knowing they all did their best and that she is now free of pain and is at peace with the Lord.
