In honor of National Volunteer Month this April, Dare County Government has released “Celebrating Dare County’s Volunteers,” a video highlighting the countless contributions that are made by the hundreds of volunteers assisting the county’s various departments throughout the year and thanking them for their service.
From Friends of Youth mentors, home-delivered meals drivers, and volunteer firefighters to Parks and Recreation Department coaches, Special Olympics event coordinators, and community emergency response team members — as well as the dozens of individuals who donate their time and talents by serving on the various county boards and committees — Dare County depends on the hard work and dedication provided by its volunteers on a daily basis.
Thank you to everyone who has given back to our Dare County community through volunteer service! To watch the video “Celebrating Dare County’s Volunteers,” this National Volunteer Month, click the button below.
