Night Driving Reopens, and other National Seashore Updates for the Week September 7

The Cape Hatteras National Seashore (CHNS) announced several recent updates related to beach driving and recreational activities on Hatteras and Ocracoke Islands. Changes related to the National Seashore for the week of September 7 include the following:

Night driving will be allowed on certain beach routes starting September 15. Daily beach access and ocean safety information is posted on the Cape Hatteras National Seashore website at https://www.nps.gov/caha/planyourvisit/conditions.htm.
