Ocracoke-mainland ferries to run on an amended schedule through Feb. 26
The Ocracoke-Swan Quarter and Ocracoke-Cedar Island ferries will run on an amended schedule from January 2 through February 26, per an update from the North Carolina Ferry System.
Departures for both routes through Feb. 26 will be as follows:
- Ocracoke to Swan Quarter: 7:00 a.m., 1:30 p.m.
- Swan Quarter to Ocracoke: 10:00 a.m., 4:30 p.m.
- Ocracoke to Cedar Island: 7:30 a.m., 1:00 p.m.
- Cedar Island to Ocracoke: 10:30 a.m., 4:30 p.m.
The Hatteras-Ocracoke ferry continues to run on an amended schedule as well through January 31, per the N.C. Ferry System’s 2024 schedule.
Ferry crossings for the Hatteras-Ocracoke ferry are as follows:
- Hatteras to Ocracoke: 5:00 a.m., 6:00 a.m., 9:00 a.m., 10:00 a.m., 1:00 p.m., 2:00 p.m. 5:00 p.m., 6:00 p.m., 9:00 p.m., midnight
- Ocracoke to Hatteras: 4:00 a.m., 7:00 a.m., 8:00 a.m., 11:00 a.m., 12:00 p.m., 3:00 p.m., 4:00 p.m., 7:00 p.m., 9:00 p.m., 11:00 p.m.
