Every year, FishingBooker, the largest online platform for finding and booking fishing trips in the US, awards its best captains with the Angler’s Choice Award. This exclusive award honors the top captains on the platform for their efforts in providing the best possible fishing experience for their guests.

Out of over 7,800 charter offers on the platform, only around 15% got the award this year. With 92 fishing charters listed on FishingBooker, Dare County captains sport a fantastic win rate of 25%!

To be eligible for the award, the charter operators had to meet the following criteria:

  • Above 4.5 out of a possible 5-star review rating from at least 7 verified reviews
  • Low cancellation rate, below 30%
  • High responsiveness to booking requests, above 90%

In all of North Carolina, Dare County and Carteret County charters form the majority of winners with 23 and 17 charters respectively. New Hanover takes third place with 10 winners.

Here is the full list of fishing charters in North Carolina that received the award. Find more details about the Angler’s Choice Award here.
