Buxton Transfer Station’s truck weigh-in station reopens

Dare County Public Works announced on Thursday that the truck scale weigh-in station at the Buxton Transfer Station, located at 47027 N.C. Highway 12 in Buxton, has reopened.

The weigh-in station was temporarily closed on Monday, October 9, due to a power surge. Dare County Public Works appreciates the public’s patience as staff worked to restore service at the station.
