Dare County Announces Martin Luther King Holiday Schedule for Trash Pick-up

The Dare County C&D Landfill, Buxton Transfer Station and Manteo Recycle Yard will be closed on Monday, January 18, 2021 in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day Holiday.

The trash collection for the week of January 18th through January 22nd will be as follows:

Monday January 18th ‐ CLOSED, No trash collection
Tuesday January 19th ‐ Kitty Hawk, Colington, Buxton, Frisco and Hatteras
Wednesday January 20th ‐ Manteo, Wanchese, East Lake, Stumpy Point, Manns Harbor, Rodanthe, Waves, Salvo and Avon
Thursday January 21st ‐ Kitty Hawk, Colington, Buxton, Frisco and Hatteras
Friday January 22nd ‐ Manteo, Wanchese, East Lake, Stumpy Point, Manns Harbor, Rodanthe, Waves, Salvo and Avon

Commercial dumpsters will be picked up on Tuesday January 19th and Friday January 22nd.
