Dare County offices will be closed on Friday, July 3, 2020 in observance of Independence Day. Offices will reopen on Monday, July 6 at 8:30 a.m.
Dare County Public Works, which provides trash collection for the unincorporated areas of the county and the Town of Kitty Hawk, has announced that trash collection will operate on its normal schedule on Friday, July 3 and Saturday, July 4. The Town of Kitty Hawk’s Saturday residential summer trash collection for the east side (beachside) of the bypass has begun and will continue through Labor Day.
The Rodanthe Recycle Center and Manteo Recycle Yard will be closed on Friday, July 3 and Saturday, July 4. The Dare County C&D Landfill and Buxton Transfer Station will be closed on Saturday, July 4.
