Deadline for SBA and State Individual Assistance for Hurricane Dorian is Dec. 16

The deadline for submitting applications to the Small Business Administration for a disaster relief loan and for state Individual Assistance is Monday, Dec. 16. To qualify for State Individual Assistance you must first fill out an SBA loan application. With the deadline quickly approaching, it is recommended that you fill out both at the same time.

Teresa Adams, Ocracoke Liason to the County, is available to assist anyone with the process. She is available at the Life Saving Church from 9-5 until Monday, Dec. 16th. After that she is available by appointment only. You can reach her at 252-921-0053 or tadams@hydecountync.gov.

The State Individual Assistance representitives will also be here on Tuesday, Dec. 17 and Wednesday, Dec. 18th to help with and answer any questions on application processing. You can also reach the State IA at 919-825-2378 and the SBA at 800-659-2955.
