The Hatteras Island Cancer Foundation (HICF) recently announced the details of their upcoming New Year’s Eve dance – an annual tradition that raises funds for a great local cause while providing a decadently fun way to ring in the new year.
Held at the Hatteras Village Civic Center from 8:00 p.m. to 12:30 a.m., this year’s gala event will feature a grand celebration with wine, beer, mixers, and non-alcohol drink options, heavy hors d’oeuvres, a “Selfie Station,” a silent auction, a DJ for all-night dancing, and a champagne toast at midnight.
Rides to and from the event will be provided by Island Hopper Shuttle and Hatters Island Transportation, ensuring a safe and reliable way to have a ball, and visitors and residents alike are welcome to join in the festivities.
Tickets are $50 in advance and $60 at the door, and can be purchased from any HICF Board Member, at Izabelle’s Closet in Hatteras village, or online at https://hicf.org/.
Attendees must be at least 21 years old, and all proceeds allow the HICF to continue to help local residents and their loved ones who are battling cancer. New Year’s revelers are encouraged to purchase their tickets early, as this annual event tends to sell out quickly.
The event is sponsored by Midgett Realty, Scratchmade Snackery, The Inn on Pamlico Sound and Cafe Pamlico, Napa Buxton Auto & Marine, and the Cape Hatteras Electric Cooperative.
