CHSS Students Remember Troops over the Holiday

For Cape Hatteras Secondary School (CHSS) students Henry Macchio, Morgan Fairbanks, and John Contestable, Christmas is about more than just receiving gifts – it’s about helping other people.

Two years ago, they created a student-led service project devoted to supporting U.S. troops deployed overseas during the holiday season. The above video from Dare County Schools explains how students at CHSS and throughout Dare County are giving back during the holidays, miles away from home.
