Hatteras Island’s museums collaborate to host first-ever Halloween Mystery Tour on Oct. 30
On Wednesday, October 30, brave explorers are invited to experience a myth-filled and scary ride through the community’s favorite Hatteras Island museums.
The Graveyard of the Atlantic Museum, the Chicamacomico Life Saving Station, the Frisco Native American Museum, and The Lost Colony Museum will be sharing tales full of mystery, shivers and chills with their first ever and collaborative “Halloween Mystery Tour”.
Each site will offer their own thrilling tales at different times. Travel from one amazing Hatteras site to another and enjoy the ride:
The schedule for Oct. 30 is as follows:
- 11:00 am—11:45 am: Chicamacomico Life Saving Station, Rodanthe – Shiver your timbers with Mel Poole as he shares unsettling and chilling tales! (Admission)
- 1:00 pm – 1:45 pm: Graveyard of the Atlantic Museum, Hatteras Village – Join us for an hour of eerie history as Danny Couch weaves together captivating tales about the haunted past of Hatteras Island. (No Admission)
- 2:00 pm—2:45 pm: Frisco Native American Museum & Natural History Center, Frisco – Encounter Native American stories about creatures that stalk the night – Wendigos, The Piasa, The Uktena and more! (Half Price Admission)
- 3:00 pm—3:45 pm: Lost Colony Museum, Buxton (Donation Requested)
