Santa Heading to Avon for December 16 Community Dinner
Santa Claus will be making a special, early appearance in Avon on Monday night, as a guest of honor at the village’s annual community dinner.
Held at the Avon Volunteer Fire Department (AVFD) at 5:00 p.m. on December 16, the annual event is an opportunity for the community to get together and toast the season, and for younger attendees to ensure that they are still on the “nice list” by checking in with the big guy himself.
The dinner is hosted by Avon community members and members of the AVFD, with help from Ketch 55 and additional Santa’s helpers. The event is free to the public, and everyone is welcome to come to the community room at the Avon Fire Station, enjoy a meal with friends, and meet and mingle with Mr. Claus.
