SALVO — Eric Kirk Wage, Sr., 45,diedWednesday, March 2, 2011, in his residence.  Eric was born inJohnson City, N.Y., and was a residential painter. 

He was the son of Wesley L. Wage, Sr. of St. Petersburg, FL., and thelate Juanita McDonnell Wage.

Besides his father, Eric is survived by: a daughter, Lauren Wage, and ason, Eric Kirk Wage, Jr., both of Avon; one sister, Angel W. Hooper ofSalvo; two brothers, James Wage, Sr. of Currituck and Wesley L. Wage,Jr. of Salvo; one granddaughter, Olivia Wage, and his partner, LisaSchmidt, and her children.

A viewing will be in Twiford’s Colony Chapel, Saturday, March 5, 10until 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, a benefit to help with final expensesfor Eric will be at the harbor across from Blue Whale in Salvo, Sunday,March 6, at 1 p.m.
