BUXTON — Pauline RollinsonRollinson, 89,died on Wednesday, May 25, 2011 at the Avon Medical Center. Mrs.Rolllinson was born in Buxton, the daughter of the late Warren RockyRollinson and the late Cynthia Tolson Rollinson. Mrs.Rollinsonwas a homemaker, a quilter, and a devoted caregiver for her mentallychallenged siblings, Lala and Louis. She was a member of theLittle Grove United Methodist Church, and the Order of Eastern Star,Roanoke Island Chapter #79. She loved everybody and will be sorelymissed by all who knew her.
Besides her parents, Mrs. Rollinson was also preceded in death by herhusband, John L. Rollinson and a son, Norwood Rollinson; sisters, ClaraHackbarth and Emma Lala Rolllinson; and brothers, James Rollinson,Belton Rollinson, George Rollinson, Charles Rollinson, and LouisRollinson.
Mrs. Rollinson is survived by a daughter, Ann Pearson of Camp Hill,Pa.; two grandchildren, Peggy Pentecost of Wanchese and KatherineMiller and husband Keith of Mechanicsburg, Pa.; threegreat-grandchildren, Jordan Pentecost of Wanchese and Foster WarrenMiller and Margo Pauline Miller, both of Mechanicsburg, Pa.; manynieces and nephews; her caregiver, Arthur Fulcher, and hersister-in-law, Audrey Rollinson.
Funeral services will be held at Little Grove United Methodist Churchat 11 a.m., Saturday, May 28, with Rev. Cory Oliverofficiating. Burial will be in the Rollinson Family Cemetery in Frisco. Thefamily will receive friends at Twiford Island Chapel, Hatteras onFriday evening from 7 to 8:30 p.m.
