FRISCO — James R. Quinerly passed away Wednesday, July 17, at the Samaritan Hospice in Mt. Holly. He was 80.
Born in Whiteville, N.C., he was a long-time resident of Florham Park, N.J., before moving to Frisco in 2008.
Jameswas a U.S. Navy veteran, serving during the Korean War. He worked manyyears for the U.S. Postal Service, serving the people in theMorristown, Summit, and Florham Park areas of New Jersey.
He enjoyed fishing, gardening, and taking photographs of different species of birds.
Jamesis survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Scott Quinerly (Patricia)of Chesterfield, N.J.; four grandchildren, Reed Quinerly, RyanQuinerly, Jennifer Dootson and Joshua Hogan, and one great-grandchild,Kayla.
