HATTERAS– Diane Doyle died on Tuesday, Feb. 11, 2014, in Colony Ridge NursingHome in Nags Head. Born in Plainfield, N.J., she received adegree at Rutgers University. Diane then went on to teach atConsumer Credit Counseling Services in Rochester, N.Y., for 20years. She then moved to Hatteras to run a bed andbreakfast.
Daughter of the late Malcom and Helen Doyle,Diane is survived by two daughters, Kendra Hegstrom and KathrynPhoenix, one granddaughter, Makenna Roach, and two brothers, WilliamDoyle and David Doyle.
A private family service will be held in Three Springs, Pa. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Hatteras Island Cancer Foundation, P.O. Box 442, Hatteras, N.C. 27943.
