MANNSHARBOR — Joseph Fagley, 75, of Shipyard Road, Manns Harbor, diedSaturday, Feb. 15, 2014 at his residence. Born in Harris, Pa., he wasthe son of the late Joseph Francis Fagley and Minerva Jane TolsonFagley. He was a marine electronics engineer, a member of Manteo FirstAssembly of God, and was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force.
Mr.Fagley is survived by his wife, Sucellia Hassell Fagley; fourdaughters, Kimberly Kaye Fagley of Greenville, N.C., Martha JoFagley and Charlena Brennett Fagley, both of Manns Harbor, and ShannonMassie Ferguson of Belton, Texas; two sons, Joseph Randolph Fagley ofHatteras and Frederick A. Massie of Manns Harbor; one sister, RubyCresson; three brothers, Waverly Allen Fagley and Larry and LarrisTolson, and nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Besides hisparents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Allison Anne Fagley,and a brother, Curtis Tolson.
A funeral service will be held onTuesday, Feb. 18, at 6 p.m. at Manteo First Assembly of God by PastorSteve Smith and Pastor Ron Denham. The family will receive friends andrelatives at the church one hour prior to the funeral. Burial will bein East Lake United Methodist Church Cemetery on Wednesday at 10 a.m.In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made the Manteo FirstAssembly of God Roofing Fund, 812 Wingina Street, Manteo, NC 27954.
