OCRACOKE — Wayne Teeter,Jr., 69, passed away Sunday, March 9, 2014 at Carteret General Hospital.
Afuneral service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at Smyrna PentecostalHoliness Church with Rev. Ivey Belch and Rev. Ricky Nelms offciating. Afuneral service will also be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Assembly of Godin Ocracoke with Rev. Ivey Belch officiating. Interment will follow atOcracoke Community Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, AdaTeeter of the home; two step-daughters; sister, Linda Garrish ofOcracoke; brother, Carl “Toad” Teeter of Port St. John, Fl.; twostep-grandchildren, a niece and several nephews, also severalgreat-nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Belinda Styron Teeter, and his parents, Frank Teeter Sr. and Iona Williams Teeter.
