CathyJane Midgett Satterfield, 59, of Pasquotank County, N.C, and formerlyof Hatteras Island, died Saturday, April 19, 2014 at her home,surrounded by family and friends following a short illness. Bornin Norfolk, Va., she was the daughter of the late Richard W. and LennieM. Midgett and was the wife of Lamar Satterfield. Mrs.Satterfield was a member of Fair Haven United Methodist Church.
Inaddition to her husband, she leaves to cherish her memories two sons,Courtland W. O’Neal and Jeremy L. Midgett and wife Jennifer; adaughter, Kala M. Ballance and boyfriend Austin Caldwell; a sister,Patricia M. Conklin; two aunts, Alice Bundy and Jeanette Williams; herdog, Missy Midgett; and many, many friends and loved ones. Alongwith her parents, Mrs. Satterfield was preceded in death by hersiblings, Aubrey Midgett, Irita Covey, Boyd Midgett, Rowan Midgett andJune Midgett.
A celebration of life will be held Monday, April28, at 2 p.m. at the Rodanthe Community Center. Memorialdonations may be made to Albemarle Hospice, P.O.
