BUXTON — Marsha Hanssen died on Oct. 1, 2015.  She was born on Aug. 25, 1955 in Henderson, N.C.

Marsha is survived by a daughter, MaryAnne; grandson, David; agreat-granddaughter; mother and stepfather, Laura and Tommy; brother,Steve, and sister, Joannie, and her husband, Jeff, and their son,Cameron.

Thank you to Colleen and John for adopting Marsha’s cats — Li’l Bit, Willow, and Harry.

Services will be held Monday, Nov. 23, at 3 p.m. at 47492 Buxton Back Road.  Refreshments served immediately following.

Services will be held outdoors. Please bring a chair for yourselves anddress accordingly.  Potluck food items or any decorative items areappreciated but not required.  

Thank you to the Creech family of Trenton, N.C., for lending their vacation home for the event.
