AVON– David Lee Barnett, 59, of Avon and a Class of 1974 graduate ofBentonville High School in Bentonville, Ark., passed away on Thursday,Oct. 22, 2015 in Avon. He was born on June 24, 1956 in Garberville,Calif., to his parents, Roy Lee Barnett and Grace Ellen (Haselip)Barnett. David worked in the construction trades and did homerenovations and remodeling.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Roy Lee Barnett and Ruth MartinBarnett (stepmother) of Centerton, Ark., and Grace Ellen (Haselip) Hoytof Morton, Wash.
He is survived by his two brothers, Don Barnett of Decatur, Ark., RoyDarwin Barnett of Centerton, Ark.,s, three sisters, Debbie Barnett ofMorton, Wash., Brenda Arredondo of Silver City, N.M., Doris BarnettPerry of Centerton, Ark., numerous nieces and nephews, and his twoadopted children, Steve Barnett and Donna Barnett of Fayetteville, Ark.
A memorial service will be held at St. Johns United Methodist Church onTuesday, Oct. 27, 2015 at 2 p.m. with Pastor Ben Wolfe officiating.
