WANCHESE — Brandon E. Daniels, born on February 4, 1981, passed away on December 11, 2024, at the age of 43. A resident of Wanchese, NC, Brandon was a devoted father, son, brother, and friend whose life was characterized by his love for the outdoors and his dedication to his family.
Brandon attended Wanchese Christian Academy and later graduated from Manteo High School. He found his calling in the world of outboard mechanics, where he thrived as a self-employed professional at Daniels Marine. His passion for working on the water was evident not only in his career but also in his leisure activities, which included commercial fishing, crabbing, motorcross, BMX, and hunting. He was a mechanical genius from a very early age.
His greatest pride and joy were his two beautiful daughters, Oma Joy Daniels and Ivy Lynn Daniels of Wanchese, NC, whom he cherished deeply. As well as his beloved cat, Bo. Brandon is survived by his loving parents, Willie E. Daniels, Jr., and Candace Tillett Daniels; his beloved sister, Sydney Kate Daniels of Asheville, NC; and his cherished nephew, Treyu E. Grant.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Hughes and Lessie Tillett, and Willie and Jean Daniels, who undoubtedly welcomed him with open arms.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, December 15, 2024, at 2:00 pm at Bethany Church of Wanchese. A private burial will take place at Cudworth Cemetery at a later date.
Brandon will be remembered for his adventurous spirit, his unwavering loyalty to those he loved, and his tenacity in all that he pursued. His legacy lives on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
