MANTEO — Bruce Alexander Oesting, 51, of Manteo, NC, passed away on Sunday, October 13, 2024. Born on February 22, 1973, in Loris, South Carolina, Bruce was fun-loving, thoughtful, and loved his family. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

He is survived by his loving mother, Judy Oesting, sons Zack Oesting and Isaac Oesting, daughters Madelyn Oesting (Chris) and Rachel Oesting, and sister Melinda Maher (Tom), as well as brothers Dusty and Ethan Gallop, and granddaughter Elle. He was predeceased by his father, James Oesting.

A memorial service honoring his life will be held on Monday, October 21, 2024, at 1:00 PM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, located at 3342 West Windjammer Road, Nags Head, NC. Prior to the service, friends and relatives may visit the family at the Maher’s residence (170 Dogwood Trl, Manteo).
