MANTEO –It is with a sense of great loss that the family of Savannah Lee Brill announces her passing on July 4 ,2020. Savannah was born on January 23,1987 and she lived a life that was full of mountain tops and deep valleys. She fought setbacks for the majority of her life, including some she had no control over, but then there were those mountain tops.
In 2010, she was selected as employee of the year at Outer Banks Urgent Care. She loved her work there as a medical receptionist. She loved pets and throughout her life had pigs, goats, cats, ferrets, chickens, ducks, and her beloved pit pulls. She also fostered and adopted many small kittens. Savannah had the best laugh you ever heard and was generous to a fault with her simple belongings.
Her love for her daughter Jayda was precious and she loved nothing more in this world. The family takes comfort in knowing that at the top of that highest mountain was her relationship with God. Through His grace and her relationship with Jesus Christ her savior, we trust that her soul rests in heaven, her struggles are no more, and that we will see her again.
She is survived by her husband, RJ Pendleton; her daughter, Jayda (father Zoran Marner); sister, Katie Smith and husband Donnie of Manteo; father, Martin Brill of Fairfield, NC; mother, Laurie Kellogg and step-father Thad Redmond, both of Manteo; and niece, Isabella Waverly.
In lieu of flowers the family asks donations in Savannah’s memory be sent to the Outer Banks SPCA, a place where she volunteered in her youth. The family will hold a private memorial service. Condolences to the family may be expressed via the online register at www.gallopfuneralservices.com. Gallop funeral Services, Inc. was entrusted with arrangements.
