Dare County Schools will have early dismissal on Wednesday
Due to increased rainfall estimates for later today and the possibility of coastal flooding forecasted for our area, all Dare County Schools will be implementing an early dismissal schedule today, March 6.
Cape Hatteras Elementary School will be dismissed at 11:30 a.m. while Cape Hatteras Secondary School will be dismissed at noon.
All after-school activities and after-school enrichment programs are canceled today.
If families have concerns or inquiries regarding student transportation, they should reach out directly to their student’s school. Our top priority is the safety and well-being of our students and staff. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
