UPDATE: N.C. Highway 12 is Back Open After Rodanthe Traffic Accident
UPDATE: N.C. Highway 12 is back open in both directions after Rodanthe Traffic Accident.
N.C. Highway 12 is temporarily closed in both directions north of Rodanthe on Pea Island due to a bad traffic accident.
The accident occurred on Wednesday afternoon and it is not known if there are any injuries or fatalities, however, bystanders reported that it appeared to be a major accident with one vehicle involved, and emergency services were at the scene per police reports.
