Ocracoke-Mainland ferries suspended on Wednesday morning due to high winds
UPDATE: All Ocracoke-Mainland ferry operations have resumed as of Wednesday afternoon.
The Ocracoke-Swan Quarter, and Ocracoke-Cedar Island ferry routes have been suspended on Wednesday morning, November 1, due to high winds, per an update from the North Carolina Ferry System.
“We will assess the conditions mid-morning for the afternoon departures,” stated the update. “If you have any questions or for more information, please call 1-800-293-3779.”
