Dare County Tax Department available to answer 2025 property revaluation questions on April 24

The Dare County Tax Department is inviting residents and property owners to stop by the Thomas A. Baum Senior Center (located at 300 Mustian Street in Kill Devil Hills) on Thursday, April 24, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. for an informational session on the recent 2025 property revaluation.

Three Dare County Tax Appraisal Department employees will be available to assist citizens with

  • Filing property tax appeals*
  • Answering general 2025 Revaluation questions
  • Discussing property tax exclusions and tax relief programs

*This is not a platform to appeal in person, but staff members are able to assist in completing your appeal form.

The event is open to all residents and property owners with questions, and no RSVP is required for this event.
