FRISCO– Mamie Williams, 66, died Sunday, Jan. 20, 2013, at her residence. Alifelong resident of Hatteras Island, she was the daughter of the lateHerman and Daisy Gaskins and spouse of Donnie Williams Sr. She was avery loving mother to her three children.
Includingher husband, she is survived by her son, Donnie Williams Jr. and wifeSusan of Cary, N.C.; her daughters, Vanniesa Jones and husband Ricky ofFrisco and Lynette Williams of Frisco; her sister, Jane Rollinson andhusband Gerald of Elizabeth City; her grandchildren, Aaron Williams,Kayleeann Jones, Austin Jones, and her great-granddaughter Harley.
Amemorial service will be at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 26, at LittleGrove United Methodist Church in Frisco with the Reverends DwightBurrus and Ken Davenport officiating. Burial will follow at the Barnettcemetery.
