Polls Open until 7:30 p.m. on Primary Day
Primary Day has arrived, and polls throughout Hatteras and Ocracoke islands are open from 6:30 a.m. until 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday for registered voters.
From county commissioners to president, both parties have a wide range of options in the 2020 March Primary Election, and a round-up of polling places for each village is listed below.

Note that voters are NOT required to show a photo ID for the March 2020 primary election. Due to a federal district court blocking North Carolina’s voter photo ID requirement in December of 2019.
