Cape Hatteras National Seashore brings back weekly in-person programs for 2021
After a hiatus in 2020 due to the Coronavirus pandemic, the Cape Hatteras National Seashore announced the return of its popular weekly seashore programs and events in its April 22 Cape Chronicle newsletter.
Weekly in-person events are typically held throughout the summer season at multiple locales throughout the National Seashore on Bodie, Hatteras, and Ocracoke Islands. As a reminder, face masks are required in all park buildings and facilities, including visitors’ centers and museums, and on NPS-managed lands when physical distancing cannot be maintained. Programs are typically held outdoors, and inclement weather may impact interpretive programming.
Additional programs and activities will be added throughout the summer. Check out the park calendar on the NPS mobile app for updates.
