Recently Frisco Native American Museum received a donation of a remarkable collection of arrowheads and stone tools. David and Barbara Howell gifted this amazing set that his father, John Collins Howell, started collecting in the early 1960’s. David joined his father in collecting in the late 1970’s and for thirty years they added to their finds. They looked throughout the counties of Wilson, Nash, and Edgecombe. The Howells simply wanted to preserve and share these wonderful items with the public. David added, “I sincerely hope others will enjoy viewing these national treasures much as I have.” For more information about the museum: www.nativeamericanmuseum.org.
