“Keeper James” Charlet will be a featured speaker at the Wind & Waves Maritime Festival this Saturday, June 8 at 4:00 PM. It is a very large festival being held at the KOA Campground at 25099 North Carolina Hwy 12, Rodanthe, NC 27968.
Keeper James will not be selling his book, but they are available locally at Island Convenience (Rodanthe), Buxton Village Books (Buxton) and the Eastern National Bookstores at the Cape Hatteras (Buxton) and the Bodie Island Lighthouses. If you get one and bring it to the Festival, Keeper James will autograph and personalize it for you. He will be at the “Hatteras Sailing” tent (Soundside) from 3:00 to 4:00 and then do a 30-minute presentation on the United States Life-Saving Service on the Main Stage.
