Graveyard of the Atlantic Museum announces Independence Day schedule, July programs
The Graveyard of the Atlantic Museum in Hatteras will be closed on the Fourth of July. Otherwise, the museum will operate on its regular schedule that week: open Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The museum is closed on Saturdays and Sundays.

Climate Change and Heritage
July 2, 11 a.m.
Join East Carolina University PhD candidate Maddie Roth for an informal lecture on the impact of climate change. The program is part of the museum’s Salty Dawgs Lecture Series, which features presentations on North Carolina maritime history and culture. These talks are scheduled at 11 a.m. on Tuesdays from June 4 through Aug. 27 in the museum, located at 59200 Museum Drive in Hatteras. The series is free and open to the public.
